Sereno Grove Intranet.  On December 1st the Board will introduce a new and proprietary website for Sereno Grove residents.  The Sereno Grove Estates website is intended to offer a ‘one-stop shop for our residents to conduct their homeowner business. In addition, homeowners can access Association documents, financials, budget, ARC forms, landscaping schedules, landscaping requests, community newsletters, training modules and much more.  Residents can also access the mobile phone applications, entrance gate instructions, and the SMART HOME applications that were included with your home purchase.

To get started, please type into your browser address  You will then be directed to register and create an account with a username and password. Once registered, you will get an activation email with a link to complete the process. Once you click on the link, you will be able to login into your account with the username and password you created.   Please be sure to check your SPAM to ensure the activation email wasn’t routed there.  Sereno Grove Board Director John Dietz not only created the site (gratis) but volunteered to act as the Board sponsor and expert leading this activity for our community.

Please do not hesitate to contact John if you have any questions or require assistance. His is email is and he welcomes your both questions and feedback.   John will also schedule in-person training sessions to ensure every homeowner has the resources and personal training to get fully versed on the different applications.

Entrance Gate.  Since the Developer turnover, there have been several reported issues regarding gate operation and malfunctions. Consequently, the Board commissioned a subcommittee with a mandate to dissect every aspect of the gate operations, isolate the problems and recommend a corrective action plan.  This also included interviewing multiple companies and soliciting bids in the event it was determined that the gate was obsolete, cheap, and unreliable to operate.

Whilst the review was underway, we believed it was prudent to keep the gate open during the day on Monday through Saturday.  Because the ingress and egress are one in the same, there is obviously only one option for residents to enter and leave the community.  Hence, the decision to keep the gate open during the day is temporary and based on the concern for the safety and convenience of our residents.  A summary and recommendation for gate operations will be discussed on December 3rd.  The gate will return to normal operating hours (closed 24 hours) in the next two weeks.

Landscaping Enhancements.  The Landscaping Committee has been working tirelessly to develop a beautification plan for the common areas in the Community. The Committee members have made tremendous progress and they will present an update to the Community at the December 3rd meeting.

In closing, 2021 has been a year of both turbulence and accomplishment for our Community, our Residents, and the Board.  We look forward sharing our successes, our challenges, and a future vision for our great Community on December 3rd.  Thank you for all your support and patience during this transition year.  We wish you Happy Thanksgiving and look forward to seeing you soon.

Respectfully Yours,

The Sereno Board of Directors
